Sweet Solutions: Advanced Concepts in Diabetic Nursing Care
Me, 40 nurses and the team from DMS Veterinary and B. Braun Vet Care got together in Birmingham to dive deep into supporting our diabetic cats and dogs!
We chatted all about what diabetes is, the newer treatments for diabetic cats, managing DKA patients, feeding diabetic patients, monitoring diabetes, and much more.
We finished off the day with a bumper practical session where we placed central venous catheters and sampling lines in our model dogs, and a social and Q&A session!
