My Mission

I’m on a mission to get veterinary nurses to further their knowledge and develop new skills, so they can help their patients in new ways.

I really believe that us being able to do more practically is key to retaining nurses, improving job satisfaction and enhancing the public’s awareness of our role - and medical patients provide us with so many opportunities to do this!

And that is why I am committed to sharing information on different diseases, as well as the hints and tips I’ve picked up during my time caring for these patients. You can find all of that on the blog, free resource library, and on my Instagram page.

But, if you want to go deeper, there are a few ways we can work together to make even more of a difference to your patients and career…

Resources

I create resources to help you nurse your medical patients easily - so you can stop worrying about complicated diseases and know exactly how to plan your nursing care.

The VIMN pocket guide range helps you manage patients with common diseases, from admission to discharge and beyond. It breaks down different diseases, diagnostic tests, anaesthesia and treatment considerations, and teaches you the practical nursing skills these patients benefit from - as well as the things to think about when caring for them.

The Medical Nursing Academy

My signature programme, the Medical Nursing Academy, is your one-stop-shop for Medical Nursing CPD.

It combines live workshops and webinars, Q&A and case discussion calls, monthly book club calls and test-yourself quizzes.

It also includes access to the Medical Nursing Community, a discussion forum for Academy members so you can learn and grow in a supportive environment, bounce ideas off of other members, and never feel like you’re studying alone.

And, on top of all of that, it’s RACE accredited!

On-Demand CPD Courses

Want something more in depth than a workshop? Join me for a medical nursing course!

Conquer Your Clinics gives veterinary nurses all of the information they need to develop and run medical nurse consultations. You’ll finish it with a thorough understanding of the different diseases we commonly see, and a roadmap to perform nurse-led appointments for these patients confidently.

Courses coming in 2024:
